When I was 24 years old, I had a traffic accident and fell off a motorcycle:
I broke my cervical spine. As a result, for the rest of my life I have been paralyzed
from the neck down, with minimal hand movements. So I use an electric wheelchair.
Therefore I have had to adjust and my life has evolved in a different direction.
Later, I applied my knowledge of computer technology and biomedicine to develop software
for scientific researches.
Subsequently, I started to program software, and I founded a computer company.
In 2009, I finished my PhD, which focused on using genetic programming to scientifically
model a worldwide contagion.

In 1993, I initiated and led humanitarian action focused on war veterans with the most severe
disabilities: using a non-personal communication model (computer with modem) to help them reintegrate into the community.
Later, I created and managed the project "Promoting personal abilities to more quality of life".
We have hired a number of scientists through daylong thematic workshops for people with disabilities.
On several occasions I have presented at international congresses on neurology and emergency
medicine physicians on issues of autonomic dysreflexia of people with disabilities.
I have also participated in initiating numerous projects and written more papers
on the problems of people with disabilities.
